The Point Roberts Historical Society mission is to preserve and promote the history of Point Roberts from its earliest days when visted by our local indigenous peoples, to when first seen by George Vancouver in the 1700's, through the settlement of the land by Icelandic immigrants, the creation of the salmon canneries and all the way to the modern days as the pene-exclave called "Little America".

Our History Center is located within the Point Roberts Community center at 1437 Gulf Rd and we our currently open from 11am till 3pm on Saturdays with extended hours of 12pm till 3pm on Sundays during July and August.

One of our projects has been the creation of a history trail. This trail consist of 32 plaques placed at locations around Point Roberts. Please visit us at the History Center and pick up a history trail brochure so you may visit these displays or visit our online map to help make your visit to Point Roberts complete.
The museum has a large collection of photographs from Point Roberts past as well as artifacts from our local history. We welcome any visitors to Point Roberts and we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about our community.
